⁶Yahweh ^[a]^(A)helps up the afflicted;
He brings down the wicked to the ground.

⁷^(B)Sing to Yahweh with thanksgiving;
Sing praises to our God on the lyre.
⁸He is the One who ^(C)covers the heavens with clouds,
The One who ^(D)provides rain for the earth,
The One who ^(E)makes grass to sprout on the mountains,
